IC5070 Pelican Nebula
The IC5070 Pelican Nebula is an HII region with active star-forming gas clouds. It is 1800 light-years from Earth, and stretches about 30 light-years wide. To the left is the east coast of the North America Nebula, NGC7000. The large cluster of stars in NGC7000 is NGC6997. North is at the top.
