"Seahorse" Dark Nebula
B150
is a
dark nebula covering about 1 deg. of field-of-view. Although
is it
made of dark gases and dust, it is visible because it obscures light
from the Milky Way stars behind it. Located 1,200 light-years
from
Earth, it stretches 20 light-years in length. North
is at the
top.
