Triangulum Galaxy
The
Triangulum Galaxy is part of the local group of galaxies that includes
our own Milky Way Galaxy as well as the M31 Andromeda Galaxy. Located 3
million light-years from Earth, it is 50,000 light-years across. It can
sometimes be seen with the naked eye, although only on rare and
extremely dark nights. North
is to the right.
