Sh2-157
Lobster Claw Nebula
The
Sh2-157 Lobster Claw Nebula is an emission nebula located
about 11,000 light-years from Earth. It is a
combination of Ha gases shown in gold, and Oiii gases shown in
blue, stretching 200 light-years across. The small bright
region
just to the top-left of center is Sh2-157a Lyn's Bright
Nebula. Open cluster NGC 7510 can be seen at the bottom-right. North is
to the right.
